That’s So celiac
Launched in 2019 as a community for those who have celiac disease, for those who know someone that has celiac, and/or those who are just curious about the gluten-free lifestyle. This site is set-up for readers to gain knowledge on celiac while not being overwhelmed with all the information you can find when you go to Google and being able to carry little tidbits of information into their daily lives and respond to any glutened situation with “That’s So Celiac”.
If you love gluten, but can’t have it anymore, you’ll feel right at home here. The posts you will find on here will not only be an encouraging community of those living with celiac disease or those supporting those who live with it, but also recipe inspiration, tips & tricks for going out to eat and traveling, recommendations on some quality gluten-free brands. I want each reader to feel informed and confident in becoming their own best advocate! I am here to educate and empower each person that comes across this page.
And do not worry, I will also provide some anecdotes about my own woes of living with the autoimmune disease.
Like I stated above, That’s So Celiac was launched in 2019. The idea of TSC came to me after my diagnosis in February 2018 and was extremely overwhelmed with the little amount of actual useful information there was on this autoimmune disease. I promised myself I would somehow take everything I have learned, am continuing to learn, and share with others.
That’s So Celiac officially became a limited liability company (LLC) on July 7, 2020. Please see the disclaimer and disclosure page.

That’s So taylor!
My name is Taylor and I am the face behind TSC. I am originally from Cincinnati / Dayton, OH and was living the beach bum life in Saint Petersburg, FL. However, now I am living the desert life and residing in Las Vegas, NV. There a lot of pieces that make up the puzzle that is Taylor!
Let’s start with the educational pieces as I am a student for life, I love learning. For my undergraduate degree I attended the Ohio University (Go Bobcats!). For my graduate degree, I attended the University of Dayton (Go Flyers!) I obviously kept my education within the Buckeye state.
Next let’s take a look at the family pieces as I come from a rather large family as my parents are separated (where my hyphenated maiden last name comes from). I am lucky to have two sets of parents that have allowed me to a big sister to 4 siblings and a little sister to 1 sibling (Yes, I have a total of 5 siblings). In August 2020, I traveled from Miss to Mrs and married my best friend! We have a rescue dog named Jax (SOA fan here).
Now the pieces I know that you’re waiting for is what I like to do for fun, which consist of quite a bit. I love to cook and bake, which is why you will typically find a new recipe or two each month. I like to curl up with a book on our couch, a coffee shop or anywhere to be honest. I also love adventuring outside and being in nature.
Let’s look at some of the random pieces of the puzzle now. I am a Harry Potter nerd; Choose Wonder Over Worry by Amber Rae was a life changing read for me; I not only eat gluten free, but dairy-free as well; I always have a strong desire to travel (I typically go abroad once a year).
I am so happy to have you here and as part of the TSC Community!
