TSC 2020 Holiday Guide

TSCGG.Header.png

I have never put together a gift guide before but felt like this year was the year to try, especially since most of the recommendations are items I use daily if not frequently!

I also know how overwhelming shopping for someone can be, so I broke down the guides into different types of people you may have in your life!

Also, please note that any items linked back to Amazon gives me a very, very small kickback; an BeautyCounter item bought through the link gives me a kickback as well. I wanted to make sure I was transparent about these things. If you do utilize any of the links and/or discount codes, thank you!

The Bookworm

The King or Queen of the Kitchen

The Busy Bee

  • Blendtopia Smoothies

    • These are not only filled with whole fruits and vegetables, but extremely convenient to use in the morning, especially when you do not want to take the time to think about what goes into your morning smoothie.

    • Plus, if you shop these smoothie you can use the code “THTAKE15”, you will get $15 off of your first order. That’s for a one time order or subscription!

  • NutriBullet Pro

    • This is the blender I use to make all my Blendtopia smoothies

    • I also use this to make my foamy flavored creamers for coffees.

  • Lopaus Point Waffles

    • Our freezer is always full of these waffles, specifically the Chocolate Chip, Blueberry, and Pumpkin ones!

    • Not only do I love supporting a local business to my home state [O-H, I-O], but also love supporting their mission of including team members with special needs. At Lopaus Point they believe that we are more alike than different. They are dedicated to providing training and jobs to people in our community that are often overlooked. Join them in celebrating our differences.

  • Bitty & Beau’s Coffee

    • You all know I love coffee, but I also love supporting a small business that has a great mission.

      • Bitty & Beau’s Coffee is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee – it’s an experience. While the shop is run by people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the customers love the products, they really come in for the unique customer service experience [from the company’s website].

      • The original Beau’s Coffee opened January 2016 in a 500 square foot space in Wilmington, NC. The original shop was run by 19 employees with intellectual and developmental disabilities. With over 80% of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities unemployed nationwide, Beau’s Coffee created a path for people with disabilities to become more valued, accepted and included in every community [from the company’s website].

    • My favorite coffee blend is Beau’s Blend!

  • Byta

    • When you are constantly on the go and need your coffee to stay warm for longer than 20 minutes, the Byta 16 oz is perfect for the job!

  • Vitamin Suitcase

    • I know how overwhelming it can be remembering to take your vitamins & supplements on schedule. This vitamin suitcase has been life-changing and keeps me on track with all my vitamins & supplements.

    • My favorite part is that you can take a single day to throw into your purse, backpack, and/or fanny pack, so you do not go off schedule while on the go.

The Game Night Champ

  • Monopoly Deal

    • My husband and I became obsessed with this card game during our mini-moon.

    • This game is perfect for a date night at home and/or with a group of friends.

  • Uno Flip

    • This is a fun twist on a classic card game.

    • If you are looking for a way to spice up your game night, I highly recommend this!

  • Brazi Bites

    • You can’t have a game night without some snacks. Brazi Bites are my go to as they are not only easy to make but every single person I have had try them, love them!

  • Mifa Bluetooth Speaker

    • Some background noise is nice while seeing who is the most competitive one in the relationship and/or friendship!

    • We were a little hesitant on the quality due to the cost, but have had a great experience with this speaker!

  • Charcuterie Board

    • Cause who does not love a good charcuterie board while playing games?

    • Also, you can definitely fill this with GF crackers, vegan cheeses, and lots of Brazi Bites!

The Self Care Qween

  • Amber Rae’s The Wonder Journal: A Guide to Explore Your Emotions

    • This journal has had a huge positive impact for me throughout my morning routine!

  • Pique Tea

    • I know I am a coffee girl but I also love a good tea, especially a matcha latte.

    • This tea is Triple Toxin Screened for pesticides, heavy metals and toxic mold. Reaping the health benefits of plants requires regular consumption.

  • A Mug from Little Things with Sam

    • My coffee bar is filled with mugs from here!

    • Plus, if you use code “Taylor10”, you will get 10% off of your order.

  • BeautyCounter Charcoal Facial Mask

    • This is my favorite thing to put on my face while soaking in a bath, a glass of wine, and my favorite book!

  • BeautyCounter Eye Revive Cooling Masks

    • These work miracles and just feel wonderful to use in your morning skincare routine.

  • Choose Wonder Over Worry Book

    • I read this book in 2019 and is a book I constantly recommend to others.

    • I hope your soul and/or passion was set on fire like mine was when I read this!

  • Dew Scrunchies

    • My favorite scrunchie brand to support and rock while I am either being a top grade fur mama, working out, relaxing, baking in the kitchen, going on a date with my husband, and/or simply sitting at my desk either creating for TSC or working my 9-5.

The Fur Mama or Dad

  • Farmer’s Dog

    • We switched Jax to Farmer’s Dog over two years ago as his prescription diet was not doing anything positive and after lots of research, we decided to have Jax try this.

    • Farmer’s Dog is a service that delivers balanced, freshly made pet food with simple recipes and guided by science! Each of Jax’s packet is designed specifically for him with fresh made human grade food!

    • If you utilize this link, you will get an entire order of Farmer’s Dog on me [no leashes attached]!

  • Bocce Bakery - BAC’N NUTTY

    • Jax said I had to put these on the gift guide as he really thinks other dogs will love them as much he loves them!

  • Slow Feeder Bowl

    • Jax can’t contain his excitement when we put Farmer’s Dog in his bowl and gobbles it down in .05 seconds. We had to figure out a way to keep him from inhaling food and enjoying it!

    • This slow feeder bowl has helped slow him down and make him work a little for his food.

  • Portable Water Bowl

    • We like to go on many adventures with Jax and we have to make sure he stays hydrated, especially in Florida!

    • We attach these to his leash, so we do not forget it. It works perfectly for all of our adventures.

  • Jumbo Donutz Chocolate Squeak Toy

    • Cause what dog wouldn’t want a donut toy!

The St. Pete Local

We all know that 2020 has been tough on many different businesses, especially our small businesses! Below are some of my favorite local small businesses that would be a great place to get a gift card and/or purchases from!

  • Black Crow Coffee

    • This is my favorite coffee shop in St. Petersburg and the one I always recommend to others to not only try but to go work at due to the inside of the shops not being like any other coffee shop around.

    • Due to COVID19, the inside of the coffee shop is closed. You can pick up coffees and food items to enjoy on the go or outside.

  • The Blend Coffee & Wine

    • The Blend Coffee & Wine is a great local spot to enjoy not only coffee, but happy hour drinks when the work day is winding down.

    • The Old Northeast location is currently open for customers to sit inside to not only work but enjoy time with friends & family. The inside space is nicely spaced out and provides a productive environment.

  • Craft Kafe

    • This is a celiacs heaven! Craft is a 100% gluten free kitchen with amazing foods and drinks!

    • Go check out their menu, I am sure you will not be disappointed.

    • Also, you can pre-oder holiday pies for your holiday festivities.

  • HaleLife Bakery

    • HaleLife is heaven sent to the Greater Tampa Bay Area as they are dedicated bakery free from gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, tree nuts (besides coconut), and shellfish.

    • Their team is made up of educated humans who all live with celiac disease and/or food related illnesses.

    • Everything is filled with flavor and satisfies the tastebuds.

  • Book + Bottle

    • This business was made for me: coffee, wine, and books!

    • I have found some of my favorite wines from here and have added quite a few books to my at home library from here.

  • Ashe Couture Boutique

    • A majority of my closet is from here.

    • Amanda, the owner, is also a fellow celiac and is a gem of a human!

    • A lot of you ask about my H plated necklace and swim suits, they are all from here!

    • Some of the brands that are this boutique are L-Space, Amuse Society, Band of Gypsies, Billabong, Bracha, and more!

  • Shandy Style Boutique

    • This is another local boutique that I love to support and buy pieces from.

    • A few of my 2020 lounge ware pieces have come from here along with more of my dressier pieces!

    • Some of the brands that are at this boutique are Levi, Free People, Saltwater Luxe, and more!

  • MaisonGlo

    • If you are looking for a place to take care of your skin, go book your facial with the ladies of MaisonGlo.

    • My skin thanks me for the membership that I have here!

  • Sip & Dry

    • The amazing team at Sip & Dry always make you feel like a million bucks when leave one of their chairs whether it is to get your blowout and/or to get your makeup done.

    • Every TSC shoot has had hair & makeup done at this amazing blow dry bar. They also helped my family, my friends, and myself get ready for our COVID beach wedding - they knocked it out of the park!

    • This a perfect place to go to simply treat yourself, before a girls night, before a date night, and/or big event.

  • Primal Performance Spine & Sport

    • I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Joe and Dr Natasha. If we ever move out of the area, I will travel the longest distance to get adjusted by them.

      • They provide cupping to all their patients then do adjustments!

    • They not only genuinely care about their patients but 100% work miracles on the body!

  • InVigorate IV

    • Part of optimizing my health is doing IV therapy. The tea at InVigorate is amazing and truly cares about helping those who need IV therapy whether it is for chronic illnesses, recovering from a half marathon and/or Crossfit competition, a seasonally cold, and/or you had a little too much to drink the night before!

  • Solace Sauna Studio

    • Another part of optimizing my health is sitting in an infrared sauna to help with the following:

      • DETOXIFICATION

      • IMPROVE SKIN + ACNE

      • WORKOUT RECOVERY

      • STRESS RELIEF

      • IMMUNE SYSTEM SUPPORT

      • PAIN RELIEF

    • This is also a nice little 40 minute escape from your day to drink all the water, read a book, listen to a podcast, and/or have no sound at all & simply be.
